M&B were approached to help bring the vision for the brand to life. Through close collaboration with the Three team, we were able to establish the brand’s name, core values, positioning and promise.

At the heart of the design system was a drive to simplify how coffee could be presented to the consumer. A simple three colour tier system was created to define the coffee’s different flavour profiles to help customers discover the right coffee for them.

The brand’s bespoke logotype was inspired by the hessian coffee bags the raw beans are transported in. The colour system is brought to life through the brand’s packaging, website and collateral. For each of the coffee tiers, a bespoke number ‘3’ was designed along with a unique pattern. These elements were utilised in the packaging design to create clear differentiation across the range.
