Lowe restaurant, part of the KOA Canvas creative community, is a contemporary dining experience showcasing seasonal produce cooked naturally by fire.

Lowe means a warm light produced by a fire. The open kitchen is centred around a charcoal grill, rotisserie and wood-fired oven. A celebration of rustic and approachable all-day dining.

The name inspired our creative approach, developing a unique modern logotype that incorporated a fire triangle into the ‘W’ character. The triangle illustrates the three ingredients a fire needs to ignite — heat, fuel and oxygen. For the collateral, we experimented with charcoal produced by the grill and ovens in the restaurant to create a range of unique textured backgrounds.
