Since the 1840s Brazil has been the largest international coffee trader, producing one third of the world’s coffee. Often white labelled for mass market brands the generations of coffee knowledge have rarely been celebrated. Simply Brazilian was born to change this. A single-minded coffee brand on a mission to deliver excellence consistently from farm to cup.

Moloobhoy & Brown were engaged to develop a foundational brand strategy and compelling visual identity that authentically celebrates Brazil's coffee heritage. Working closely with the founders, we articulated a core set of values and defined the brand's positioning: "Perfected by Generations."

Inspired by Brazil's vibrant cultural tapestry—from the lush Amazon rainforest to the iconic beaches of Ipanema—we crafted a distinct visual identity. Unique graphic patterns were developed, each narrating a different facet of Brazilian culture. The elegant feather motif within the Simply Brazilian ‘B’ draws inspiration from the distinctive plumage of the Blue Macaw, symbolising authenticity and quality. Additionally, we designed a bespoke quality seal to reinforce the brand’s commitment to excellence.

The dynamic colour palette reflects Brazil’s natural beauty and vibrancy, distinguishing the coffee roast varieties—Classico (Green), Intenso (Purple), and Decaf (Blue). We translated this vibrant identity across a comprehensive range of packaging for ground coffee, beans, capsules, and drip bags.
