Interview: The Design Kids
We were excited to get involved with The Design Kids platform. Creative Director Elliott Brown took some time out to answer six questions about his experience at university, first steps into the creative world and advice for up and comings grads.
If you haven’t heard of them before The Design Kids is a global Graphic Design organisation for university students and graduates. They work with existing local organisations such as D&AD, AIGA, AGDA, GDC, DINZ, Creative Mornings, and many many more to provide a neutral platform to educate the students about the industry, and bridge the gap between studying and working. They currently have around 100,000 people in their community in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada, Europe and they're in the process of launching in the Middle East and Africa next.
Part of educating the students about the industry is to feature their favourite creatives, show off their work and ask what their job entails, with the hope the students graduate with more focus around what type of work they want, and who is doing that really well.
